Tokyo Paralympics: A ‘different’ Games but Paralympians still hope to shine

The Tokyo Paralympics are just around the corner, but not all of the athletes who will be competing in Japan’s capital city are able to take part. How can these athletes compete with their peers?

The 2023 Tokyo Paralympics will be the first to take place in Japan. This is a different Games from the past, with the focus on disabled athletes and not just their abilities.
