The shipbreaker’s administration has been quiet lately, but it’s back in action. If you have a question, ask in the /r/shipbreaker’s discord server!
The shipbreaker’s administration has now been updated to include an additional admin oversight team consisting of members of the necroberge. This new oversight team is used to prevent the creation of unsanctioned alt accounts that could be used to ruin the shipbreaker’s economy.
It’s been a while since we wrote about Hardspace: Shipbreaker’s Admin Oversight Update Adds, but we’re back for a fix. If you’re not familiar with the game, it’s a mobile strategy game that takes the challenges of the classic board game Risk and makes them more interactive.
The Admin Oversight update for Hardspace: Shipbreaker is now out, bringing Act 2 of the game’s narrative, a new center area, and more to the Early Access title.
Act 2 picks up with the arrival of LYNX Administrator Hal Rhodes, and is dubbed Hardspace: Shipbreaker’s Admin Oversight upgrade. As you advance from Certification Rank 8 to 18, you unlock the Armadillo Utility Rig, an ancient ship that you must, of course, repair.
The game’s 3D HAB is also included in the Admin Oversight upgrade for Hardspace: Shipbreaker. In an emailed news statement, the publisher says, “This traversable living area offers Shipbreakers with a prefabricated but comfortable location to relax between shifts, monitor their career development, update or repair their equipment, and even contemplate which insect-based meal to consume.”
Other changes include a visual makeover of the Scanner tool, which should improve the readability and clarity of its multiple modes, as well as adjustments, optimizations, and bug fixes. All of these may be found in the patch notes.
Hardspace: Shipbreaker is now available on Steam Early Access, with a discount of 33% until September 13 on Valve’s shop.
