In this article, we will be taking a look at the 8 best sorcerer builds for Elder Scrolls Online in 2023. Sorcerer is one of the most versatile classes in ESO and can do many things well.
The eso most fun sorcerer build is a build that offers a lot of damage and utility. It’s a good build for beginners who want to be able to do everything in the game.
The greatest Sorcerer builds in ESO right now are listed here, along with the components of each build and how to play them successfully. Sorcerers are renowned for their flexibility, overpowering strength, and simplicity of usage in The Elder Scrolls Online. Because the Waking Flames DLC included some fantastic new content and equipment, certain things have changed in terms of which outfits you should utilize, but a lot has remained the same. When it comes to play styles and what you offer to any battle, you’ll discover that your Sorcerer has a lot of punch and helpful boosts that you and your squad will benefit from. Sorcerers, in general, like to focus on dps, putting out large numbers in both PVE and PVP situations, both in groups and alone. Sorcerers can tank and heal, but they’ll need more experience to get the most out of both playstyles.
In this article, we’ll go through the finest Sorcerer builds for all types of play, including PvE and PvP. We’ll start with group PvE builds before moving on to solo builds and ultimately PvP builds. High-damage items like the Harpooner’s Wading Kilt and Siroria’s Mantle will give you the highest statistics, but they only work in specific situations since the Kilt needs you to not take direct damage and Siroria requires you to stand in the same place to receive its boost.
Dual Wield on magicka characters deals more damage than staves, but it puts you in greater risk since magicka characters are squishier in general. Keep in mind that if you are forced out of melee range, you will lose all of your damage benefits. Simply said, if you can utilize these things for a whole battle with almost 100% uptime, you should. These items will appear in some of the builds, but keep in mind that if you can’t fully use the set benefits, some alternatives will earn you far higher numbers.
The Best ESO Sorcerer Builds: Our Top Picks
Let’s get started on ESO’s finest Sorcerer builds, beginning with the magicka Sorcerer, one of the game’s most flexible and high single target damage.
1. Magsorc DPS Build for PvE
Khajiit (Dark Elf or High Elf) | Mundus: Thief | Food: Solitude Salmon Millet Soup (5395 health, 4936 magicka) or similar | Attributes: 64 Magicka
The Magicka Sorcerer can be played with or without pets, but if you want to maximize your DPS, a pet sorc build is the way to go. You can keep the Magsorc safe by utilizing a number of abilities, so you could go dual wield, but I like to use a flaming staff for survivability and the traditional Sorcerer playstyle.
Magicka-focused races benefit the Magsorc the most, while the Khajiit is recommended for maximum DPS. In terms of DPS, Dark Elves and High Elves are close behind, and all of these species have excellent survivability.
Skills
Medusa Flame Staff or Daggers (Main Bar) | Wall of Destruction Flame Staff (Back Bar) |
---|---|
Fragments of Crystal | Elements’ Unstable Wall |
Prey of the Daedric | Trap with Barbed Wire (or Race Against Time) |
Aegis Imprisoned | Storm Without End (or Mystic Orb if group provides Major Resolve) |
Unpredictable Familiar | Unpredictable Familiar |
Tormentor of the Twilight | Tormentor of the Twilight |
Astronach of the Greater Storm (Ult) | Astronach of the Greater Storm (Ult) |
The Magicka Sorcerer can deal a lot of damage to a single target while also doing a lot of damage to a large area of effect. The Sorcerer’s pets and passives help it be the strongest DPS at the start of a battle, with the Amplitude passive providing an extra 1% enhanced damage for every 10% of an enemy’s current health. Starting with a 10% boost in damage is fantastic, but the Tormentor of the Twilight itself does 50% more damage to opponents with less than 50% health, further cementing this concept.
The Expert Mage passive from the Storm Calling skill tree will boost your spell and weapon damage by 2% for each sorcerer ability placed. As a result, you’ll want as many Sorcerer talents as possible on both bars.
Use Fragments of Crystal spammable anytime it procs, which will be often since it has a 35% chance of doing so. This becomes an instant cast ability that costs 50% less magicka and does 66 percent more damage when activated, making it a high priority usage ability. If it does proc, be sure to utilize it before switching back to laying down ground AOEs, as it will most likely have triggered again by the time you return to use it.

Weapon 2 | Crushing Wall (Perfected) | Infused (w/ enchantment for weapon damage) |
5 Law of Julianos (craftable), 5 Mother’s Sorrow (from Deshaan), 2 Monster Set / Willpower Set are a simple beginning set option.
Our first set will be (Perfected) Bahsei’s Mania (from Rockgrove), which gives a significant damage increase when magicka is low. Due to your lack magicka, you’ll be able to inflict up to 15% more damage to non-player opponents, allowing us to deliver massive quantities of damage. Consider skipping the Storm Calling passive Capacitor, which boosts your magicka recovery by 10%, since you’ll want to keep your magicka recovery low to retain the damage benefit from Bahesei’s Mania. Whether you often run out of magicka and are unable to utilize your abilities, try experimenting with the 5% boost from the first level to see if that is a suitable number for you.
Our second set is Cloudrest’s (Perfected) Mantle of Siroria, which may be very strong if used properly. If you want to keep your Bahsei’s magicka pool low, use dual wield daggers so that your heavy strikes don’t give you magicka back. After doing direct damage, standing in Siroria’s ring of fire will provide you stacks of spell damage, up to a maximum of 520 spell damage at full stacks. If Siroria isn’t available, Mother’s Sorrow or Medusa are good alternatives (replacing Trap with Barbed Wire with Mystic Orb).
The Harpooners Wading Kilt (from scrying) combined with Slimecraw (Wayrest Sewers 1) will offer you the most damage output, but it will need you to avoid taking direct damage. You earn stacks on the Kilt when you do direct damage, giving you a 125 critical chance and 1% critical damage per second. Five of those stacks will be removed if you take direct damage, but at maximum, the 1250 critical chance and 10% enhanced critical damage is quite good. When you can’t get the Kilt to stack consistently, Zaan (from Scalecaller Peak) should be utilized.

2. Stamsorc DPS Build for PvE
Attributes: 64 Stamina | Race: Khajiit (or Dark Elf) | Mundus: Thief | Food: Garlic Cod with Potato Crust or similar (5395 health, 4936 stamina) | Race: Khajiit (or Dark Elf) | Mundus: Thief
Stamina Sorcerers, like their magicka counterparts, benefit tremendously from having pets, which is what we’ll be utilizing on this build. You can always load your bar with other abilities like Brawler for extra defense and Vigorous Resolving for those amazing heals if you don’t want to use pets. This will be a two-hand / dual-wield configuration, but the maelstrom bow on the rear bar may also be extremely effective.
The best race for Stamsorcs is either Dark Elf or Khajiit, since their DPS values are almost identical. The Dark Elf will increase your weapon damage (+258), while the Khajiit will increase your critical damage bonus (+12%). Because the racial difference is just about 500-1000 lost dps in a long parse, I utilize an Orc for my Stamsorc and still hit excellent numbers.
Skills

Tormentor of the Twilight | Tormentor of the Twilight |
Danwbreaker Danwbreaker Danwbreaker Danwbreaker Danwbreaker Danwbreaker Dan (Ult) | Astronach of the Greater Storm |
Stamsorcs like to get close and personal with their enemies, taking use of their high damage output and mobility. When you trigger Clannfear again, it will do massive damage and heal you. You should always keep your bound armaments on your front bar to benefit from the 8% boost in max stamina pool and the 10% increase in light attacks.
Wrecking Blow can be used in lieu of Weapon made of crystals, however having Weapon made of crystals on your weapon bar gives you a 2% boost in weapon/spell damage from Expert Mage, which the two-hand skill won’t provide you. Crystal Weapon additionally applies a debuff to foes struck, decreasing their armor by 1000 for 5 seconds and lowering the cost of any following ability except ultimates by 10%.
With this build, you’ll have less ranged damage, so if you’re fighting a monster and need to move away from them due to mechanics, opt for a maelstrom bow with Continual Hail and Poison Injection instead of the daggers.

5 Hunding’s Rage (craftable), 5 Leviathan (from Crypt of Hearts), 2 Monster Set / Agility Set are a simple beginning set option.
To begin, we’ll use (Perfected) Arms of Relequen (from Cloudrest) to increase our single target DPS. From light/heavy attacks on a target, you’ll gain a stack every half second, up to ten, inflicting damage depending on the higher of your weapon or spell damage. You’ll have to battle a monster for a long to see how powerful this set is, but when it comes to bringing down bosses, this is your go-to set.
Kinras’ Wrath (from Black Drake Villa) will be our second set, granting ourselves and our party Berserk damage boosts. After stacking 5 light/heavy strikes, an aura forms around you, giving you and any ally inside a Minor Berserk effect, which increases everyone’s damage by 5%. You also gain Major Berserk, which increases your damage by a further 10%. If you desire pure additional critical hit chance, Advancing Yokeda (from Hel Ra Citadel) is an excellent alternative set.
Instead of a complete monster set, we’ll use the Harpooner’s Wading Kilt and Slimecraw once again. If you can keep the stacks alive, the 1250 crit chance and 10% enhanced critical damage are unrivaled. Instead of a monster helm, use an arena weapon set like Vateshran daggers, since most do not help stamina characters right now. The Blackrose Prison Daggers will be our backbar set, which delivers Spectral Cloak once our Deadly Cloak has injured an opponent. This effect lowers damage received by 6% while boosting damage done by 6%, allowing us to significantly increase our total DPS.

3. Stamsorc Tank Build for PvE
Food: Longfin Pasty with Melon Sauce or similar (4462 health, 4105 stamina / magicka) | Race: Imperial (or Nord) | Mundus: Lord or Lady & Bewitched Sugar Skulls is a more costly alternative that provides greater survivability and recovery (4620 health, 4250 magicka/stamina, and 462 health recovery) | Attributes: 40 health, 24 stamina
Tanking on a Sorcerer gives less benefits to their party as a whole, but they may be very tanky and hold their own against some really tough material. This capacity to remain alive in any situation may be more useful in certain situations than other classes that offer greater group buffs, but it can also leave their party vulnerable to bosses’ stronger strikes, leaving the squishier DPS exposed to the boss’s damage.
We’ll choose an Imperial as our race since their excellent passive lowers the cost of every ability by 6%, which, when combined with your Unholy Knowledge passive, which reduces magicka and stamina cost skills by 6%, allows for extremely simple resource management. Sorcerer tanks benefit from Nords since they provide a 2600 physical and magical resistance boost, making it simpler to reach the 33,000 resistance limit.

For the fundamentals on tanking, check out one of our other tutorials; here, we’ll get straight into what you’ll need to concentrate on to make your Sorcerer tank succeed. To begin, we’ll use Ward has become more adamant. instead of Ward with a lot of power since we don’t want to offer our group the small intelligence boost that provides everyone 15% greater magicka recovery. The rationale for this is because some of our group members will be running Bahsei’s Mania at some point, and they’ll want to keep their magicka pools low. Restraining Prison, one of the major tanking abilities available to Sorcerers, immobilizes opponents in a narrow yet lengthy area of 18 by 6 meters.
Whether or whether you paralyze opponents, you will earn Major Vitality for three seconds, increasing the amount of healing you receive by 16 percent. When you strike an opponent with a dark magic ability, which happens every 0.5 seconds, the Blood Magic passive activates, healing you depending on your maximum health. You may give your party with Minor Prophecy with 100% uptime if you perform a Dark Magic skill every 20 seconds, giving your squad a fantastic additional 1314 spell critical. Your Dark Deal is a resource management ability that gives you health and stamina immediately and recovers stamina over a 20-second period, allowing you to predict when you’ll be handing away the Minor Prophecy boost.

5 Ebon Armory (from Crypt of Hearts), 5 Plague Doctor (from Deshaan), 2 Monster Set / Endurance Set is an easy beginning set option.
Because the Stamsorc tank doesn’t need many defensive setups, we’ll focus on providing our group damage boosts through our armor. The first set is Sunspire’s (Perfected) Claw of Yolnahkriin, which grants Minor Courage for 15 seconds after taunting an opponent, boosting weapon and spell damage by 215 for you and up to 11 group members. Another fantastic feature of this set is the Minor Aegis, which reduces the amount of damage you receive from Dungeon, Trial, and Arena enemies by 5%.
When we’re in trials, we utilize Aegis of Galanwe (from Cloudrest), which gives us an additional boost to damage via the Empower it grants to all teammates when you successfully block. Empower boosts the damage of light strikes by 40%, and because you’ll be blocking all the time, you should have 100% uptime. If you’re in a dungeon group, choose Powerful Assault (from the Imperial City coffer) for the tremendous 307 weapon and spell damage your party will get every time you perform an assault skill for 10 seconds. To obtain this benefit more quickly, substitute Hardened Ward with Vigorous Resolving.
Choose a monster headgear that matches with either a magicka or stamina based group for the Sorcerer Tank’s monster set. Encratis’ Behemoth (from Black Drake Villa) increases a magicka group’s flame damage by 5% while simultaneously boosting their flame resistance by 5%. To activate the effect, you must inflict fire damage, which is why we have a flame glyph on our main hand sword. Tremorscale (from Volenfell) is for Stamina groups since it lowers an enemy’s physical resistance by 2395 every time you taunt them. Have both on hand so you may swap depending on whether your squad is more focused on stamina or magicka.

4. Magsorc Healer Build for PvE
High Elf (Khajiit or Breton) | Mundus: Thief | Food: Solitude Salmon Millet Soup (5395 health, 4936 magicka) or similar | Attributes: 64 Magicka
In terms of healers, the Magicka Sorcerer healer is another intriguing option, since it is not often used. However, if the proper sets are used and the Sorcerer’s various abilities are used, it may be an excellent healer.
Because Sorcerers already have a lot of magicka and can cast a lot of spells, we recommend utilizing a High Elf to increase your total healing and damage. Magsorc healers may also use Khajiit or Breton, so it’s a matter of personal choice.
Skills
Staff at Rejuvenation at its finest Restoration (Main Bar) | a ferocious opportunist Lightning Staff (Back Bar) |

Prayer for War | Orb of Energy |
Ward with a lot of power | Drainage of the Elements |
Matriarch of the Twilight | Matriarch of the Twilight |
Field of Absorption (Ult) | Warhorn with an aggressive tone (Ult) |
A Sorcerer healer can offer a lot of healing as well as some extremely useful abilities for keeping your party members alive. Power Surge will provide us with a source of Major Sorcery, boosting spell damage by 20% for 33 seconds and causing our critical strikes to heal ourselves and our allies every three seconds. If you don’t want to offer your group Minor Intellect, which provides them 15% extra magicka recovery (Bahsei’s Mania being the primary reason for this worry), Empowered Ward may be swapped out for an alternative heal.
The Twilight Matriarch is a powerful healer who also contributes to our total damage output. In most instances, Aggressive Warhorn should be employed to increase the group’s total damage, but Absorption Field will heal the whole group while also dispelling and preventing enemy-placed effects. Enemies inside the globe are stunned for the length of the 12 second talent, making it a useful ability to have on hand when your team is in trouble.

Alternative beginning set: 5 Law of Julianos (craftable), 5 Sanctuary (Banned Cells), and 2 Monster Set / Willpower Set.
Magsorc healers love to use their Power Surge ability to play off critical heals, so our first set will be Hallowfang Thirst (from Moongrave Fane), which accomplishes exactly that. The 5 piece bonus gives additional benefit from critically healing a friend or critically hurting an opponent, where it summons a ball of hemoglobin, giving us 657 spell critical in two of the item bonus stats. After 2 seconds, the ball bursts, restoring magicka and granting Minor Vitality to everyone struck within 6 meters, boosting healing received by 8% for 9 seconds. This effect may be triggered every 9 seconds, resulting in very long uptimes.
The second set we’ll use is White Gold Tower’s Spell Power Cure, which focuses on boosting our group’s spell and weapon damage by 430 with Major Courage. You may use Olorime instead, but you’ll need to time the ground AOE proc perfectly such that everyone in your group gets Major Courage. Instead, SPC triggers anytime you overheal a target, giving you a five-second boost, which is simple enough to do at least once every five seconds.
For your monster set, choose either Earthgore (from Bloodroot Forge) or Symphony of Blades (from Depths of Malatar) for stronger heals and greater group sustain. When a party member drops below 50% health and is restored by you, Earthgore releases a powerful AOE heal, ensuring no death runs and keeping your DPS alive at all times. While you heal an ally when their main resource is below 50%, Symphony of Blades activates, granting them 570 stamina or magicka every 1 second for 6 seconds, depending on their primary resource.

5. Magsorc Solo Build for PvE
High Elf (Dark Elf or Khajiit) | Mundus: Thief | Food: Solitude Salmon Millet Soup or equivalent (5395 health, 4936 magicka), with Bewitched Sugar Skulls being a more expensive option for better survivability and recovery (4620 health, 4250 magicka/stamina, and 462 health recovery) | Attributes: 64 Magicka
The Magsorc is one of the strongest solo classes available, and a highly viable playstyle for any solo content. The petsorcs make soloing a lot simpler, so that’s the build we’ll use here. However, you may opt not to use pets and still have a very powerful solo build. You’ll lose out on the excellent tanking, damage, and healing that pets offer, but they do take up a lot of bar space, and it’s easy to trip over them as you go around Tamriel.
We chose High Elf as our race because of their excellent magicka benefits, which include an additional 2000 magicka and 258 spell and weapon damage, as well as 625 magicka or stamina recovered once every six seconds while performing an ability. Dark Elves and Khajiit are nearly similar in terms of damage and durability, thus it comes down to personal preference.

Magicka Sorcerers utilize their pets to great success, both in terms of doing heavy damage and in terms of distributing opponent damage to themselves. Crystal Fragments will be your go-to spell for delivering massive quantities of single-target damage, and it will also help you manage your resources by lowering the cost of any non-ultimate skill performed 3 seconds following Crystal Fragments.
Daedric Prey is a must-have since it delivers excellent single-target and AOE damage to foes around the enemy target after 6 seconds, and your pets deal an extra 20% damage to that target during that time. This is ideal for boss battles since you’ll deliver more DPS and the splash damage from the explosion will assist wipe out surrounding advertisements. Your Familiar will boost your damage and may be used to stun opponents, while your Tormentor will inflict more damage to enemies over 50% when activated again.
Critical Surge is a talent you’ll want to use all the time so you can benefit from its excellent heals every second and the Major Sorcery/Brutality it grants, which increases your spell/weapon damage by 20%. Your Charged Atronach will do more single-target damage and have a good AOE, while your Elemental Rage will swiftly dispatch groups of advertisements.

Because you’ll be receiving a lot of direct damage when soloing, and although your pets will take the majority of it, equipment like the Harpooner’s Wading Kilt aren’t ideal. You won’t need to run Ring of the Pale Order since critical surge provides constant healing, but you may if you feel like you need more. The first set we’ll utilize is Unleashed Ritualist (from The Cauldron), which gives us 3288 total magicka and a fantastic five-set bonus that buffs our pet’s damage. Ritualist’s Mark is affixed to an opponent for 10 seconds after inflicting damage to them, forcing them to suffer an extra 16 percent damage from your summoned pets. This will strengthen your Familiar, Tormentor, and Atronach leagues, allowing them to swiftly dispatch foes with their devastating damage. This mark will be applied to all of your opponents inside the AOE range by your Unstable Wall of Elements, ensuring that all enemies have 100% uptime.
Our second set, the Medusa set, will be for our spell critical increase to keep our Critical Surge up and running (from Arx Corinium). This set gives you 2,863 spell criticals in total, as well as Minor Force, which boosts critical damage by 10%. We’re taking use of the fact that this is a heavy armor set by utilizing the chest piece to get the most out of a reinforced piece of armor, as well as the Undaunted Mettle passive, which protects us from opponent damage.
Iceheart (from Direfrost Keep) is a popular monster set for magicka solo characters, and we’ll utilize it because of the additional spell critical and tremendous damage protection you receive anytime you deal critical damage, which fits well with our critical strike playstyle. You also deal a devastating frost aura that scales off of your max spell or weapon damage, whichever is greater, for six seconds with this damage shield of 5000. Iceheart has greater defensive and AOE damage, while Zaan (from Scalecaller Peak) has better single target dps on boss battles at the cost of survivability.

6. Solo PvE Stamsorc Build
Mundus: Thief | Race: Orc (Wood Elf or Khajiit) | Food: Garlic Cod with Potato Crust or similar (5395 health, 4936 stamina) Bewitched Sugar Skulls is a more costly alternative that provides greater survivability and more resources (4620 health, 4250 magicka/stamina, and 462 health recovery) | Attributes: 64 Stamina
Stamina Sorcerers are inherently tough and skilled at dealing and absorbing harm, both single target and in a wide area. Because sorcerers have some of the greatest passives that can be transferred to Werewolf form, this is my favorite class to play on Werewolves, and this is the emphasis of my build. A Stamsorc Werewolf is a powerful creature, and you can select when to change depending on the circumstances, making the most of its solid damage while your other abilities are already active. Keep in mind that as you change, your pets will be de-summoned, so be careful to re-summon them when you return to your regular shape!
Orcs seem extremely powerful while soloing on a Stamsorc, since they gain 2125 health every four seconds when they do damage. With their excellent mobility, the additional 258 weapon/spell damage and 1000 health/stamina isn’t terrible either. Stamsorcs may also benefit from Khajiit, who do slightly more damage than orcs at the expense of some resilience, and Wood Elves, who provide greater sustain.

The Unstable Clannfear pet is used by a Stamina Sorcerer to assist carry part of the opponent damage while delivering large quantities of single target and aoe damage. If you don’t want to go for a werewolf build, utilize Summon Charged Atronach as your primary ultimate ability on your rear bar instead. This skill set-up provides excellent mobility, protection, and damage output to single targets as well as groups of opponents.
To keep the impact of your abilities in the werewolf form, buff up with Critical Surge, Hurricane, and Resolving Vigor, then lay down Endless Hail and activate Brawler before changing into the Werewolf Berserker. When you activate all of them, you’ll get a big damage increase when you enter the Werewolf Berserker form, as well as a fantastic shield and healing over time.

5 Hunding’s Rage (craftable), 5 Leviathan (from Crypt of Hearts), 2 Monster Set / Agility Set are a simple beginning set option.
When our Blood Moon set occurs, this Stamsorc build will be centered on delivering high critical damage while also dishing out extremely rapid light strikes. Blood Moon (from March of Sacrifices) will be our first set, giving us 129 weapon damage and 1314 weapon critical, which will aid the activation of our second set. After 5 stacks of doing damage with light strikes, the five-piece bonus on Blood Moon activates, increasing light attack damage by 55% and attack speed by 50% for five seconds every 15 seconds. This will be a tremendous burst of damage to a single target, or many opponents you go after to apply the bleed, thanks to the Werewolf Berserker’s additional bleed damage on light strikes.
Tzogvin’s Warband (from Frostvault) will be our second set, which is a stamina alternative to the popular magicka comparable set Medusa. Tzogvin’s, on the other hand, grants 1314 weapon critical and 1487 physical penetration, both of which are excellent for soloing, and the 5th piece benefit is activated after stacking critical strikes. When you inflict critical damage against Tzogvin, you earn a stack of 177 weapon criticals, and when you reach level 10, you acquire Minor Force, which increases your critical damage by 10%. With 1770 additional weapon critical towards the end and Minor Force, this set will let you do extremely consistent critical damage while also increasing your Critical Surge healing probability.
We chose a monster set over the traditional Slimecraw/Ring of the Pale Order soloing combo since we already have a lot of HP from our other skills. Magma Incarnate (from The Dread Cellar) provides much-needed 129 stamina and magicka recovery, as well as activating its main effect anytime you use a single target heal ability to heal yourself or a party member. This is a breeze to activate with Crit Surge, Resolving Vigor, and Claws of Life. When you activate it, you get Minor Courage, which increases your weapon and spell damage by 215 and Minor Resolve, which increases your Armor by 2974. This boost lasts 10 seconds and may happen every 15 seconds on you, so keep that in mind if you plan to use this set during a battle.

7. Magsorc DPS Build for PvP
Food: Solitude Salmon Millet Soup or similar (5395 health, 4936 magicka), and Bewitched Sugar Skulls is a more costly choice for greater survivability with extra recovery (4620 health, 4250 magicka/stamina, and 462 health recovery). Race: Dark Elf (or Khajiit) | Mundus: Lover / Apprentice 64 Magicka | Attributes
With its high burst damage potential and excellent mobility, the Magicka Sorcerer has a lot of PvP potential. The new Magsorcs sets are also extremely powerful with their playstyle, and should be tried out to determine whether you prefer them to your existing Magsorcs setup. This PvP Magsorc aspires to be a formidable opponent in both duels and group battles, delivering heavy damage and exerting excellent crowd control.
Dark Elf is the race we’ve selected for this build because of their high spell/weapon damage, as well as their enhanced 1910 magicka and stamina, which will help us survive. The 4620 flame resistance reduces the amount of damage you receive from opposing players wielding flame staves, as well as Dragonknights. With their magicka pools and long-term advantages, Khajiit, High Elves, and Bretons all perform well.

Your Magsorc may kite for as long as they desire, then return to knock down opponents and their groups with powerful combinations. Streak may be followed up by Daedric Minefiled to trigger your Convergence of the Dark armor set proc. Your sorcerer skill Dark Conversion will allow you to heal yourself and regain magicka instantly, as well as acquire magicka over a 20-second period.
Maintaining Boundless Storm, Hardened Ward, and Rapid Regneration will keep your character healthy nearly all of the time, but if you do lose health, Temporal Guard is your get-out-of-jail card. As you activate Temporal Guard before dying, it will reset your resources and position to where you were 4 seconds earlier, which may be quite a distance back if you trick opponents into pursuing you when you sprint away.
To maintain the 600 spell damage boost from your front bar Impact on the Environment set, use Frost Clench at least once every 4 seconds. With its high damage and the ability to kite around it to deflect enemy fire, Summon Charged Astronach will help you deal with single targets and groups equally.

5 Law of Julianos (craftable), 5 Spinners (from Malabal Tor), 2 Monster Set / Willpower Set are a simple beginning set option.
Our first set will be Dark Convergence (from the worthy’s PvP rewards), which provides us with a fantastic offensive 5-piece boost. The 5 piece boost helps dominate the playing field with otherwise well-rounded attributes like maximum magicka, spell/weapon damage, and offensive penetration. After using an ability that leaves a ground effect, an area is formed that adds a 30% snare and draws opponents every 2 seconds after a 0.5 second delay, stuns them for a second, and applies a 30 percent snare. After 4 seconds, a massive quantity of magical damage explodes into this area, increasing the inside by 10% for per target within.
Hrothgar’s Chill (from PVP rewards of the deserving) will be our second set, which is a brand new excellent set. If you don’t have enough magicka or spell damage, swap Crafty Alfiq for either the set above or this one. Hrothgar’s Chill will trigger when you stun or immobilize an opponent with the Dark Convergence set’s Streak or even Forst Clench. It applies the chilled status effect and frosts foes within 8 meters of the target, dealing a wild 26% of the target’s total physical and spell resistance. Try landing this on a more resilient opponent to cause havoc on them and their allies.
(Perfected) Destructive Impact (from Dragon Star Arena), also known as the Master’s Ice Staff, is the front bar set we’ll be utilizing. When we cast Destructive Touch with this set, we will deal 600 spell damage for 4 seconds (Frost Clench). This is fantastic since it increases the efficacy of our other damaging abilities and set effects, plus Frost Clench is a highly valuable talent in and of itself. When you use Major Maim on an enemy, they will take 10% less damage for 5 seconds, making it much simpler for you to finish them off since they won’t be able to fight back. (Perfected) Precise Regeneration (from Maelstrom Arena) is our backbar set, which provides us magicka back when we perform our heal Rapid Regeneration.

8. Stamsorc DPS Build for PvP
Food: Garlic Cod with Potato Crust or similar (5395 health, 4936 stamina), and Bewitched Sugar Skulls is a more costly choice for greater survivability with extra recovery (4620 health, 4250 magicka/stamina, and 462 health recovery) | Attributes: 64 Stamina
Stamina Sorcerers use streak to take advantage of their great mobility and excel at a flashing in, taking out an opponent, and flashing out playstyle. With your armor and abilities, you’ll be able to hold your own against groups of opponents in PvP, but taking use of your mobility and survivability will get you a long way on your Stamsorc. Consider taking on the Werewolf curse instead, and experimenting with that ultimate to deliver large levels of damage in bursts when activated. With their 2125 health gained every 4 seconds while doing damage in battle, Orcs will give you with the most durability against opponents, but Khajiit will let you burst down adversaries quicker. With excellent sustain and damage, Dark Elves and Wood Elves are close behind, although Orcs and Khajiit seem to be the best PvP races on Stamsorcs.

With a mix of your Hurricane and Quick Cloak, you’ll be zipping through battles with both Minor and Major Expedition, making you difficult to track down. Streak will serve as an excellent starting tool as well as a means of escape for you. Streak and Dawnbreaker of Smiting are our sole stun sources, thus planning out when you want to CC the opponent should be no issue, however setting up Streaks may be tricky in some situations. Rally, Dark Deal, and Resolving Vigor buffs will let you recover continuously during a fight, keeping your health bar topped up despite taking severe damage. Hurricane will provide you Major Resolve and Ward, increasing your resistances by 5948, and Quick Cloak will grant you Major Evasion, reducing AOE damage by 20%. While you use your other abilities to burst opponents down, these skills will set you up for simple confrontations.
Razor Caltrops should be thrown underneath opponents before doing damage to them for the Major Breach effect, which reduces their physical and spell resistance by 5948, allowing you to inflict much more damage. Charge up your Frenzied Momentum, then activate Crystal Weapon before heavy hitting an opponent with a Flawless Danwbreaker to do enormous damage in an AOE surrounding the target. If you follow it up with Whirling Blades to clear up the area, you’ll have opponents dropping like flies.

5 Hunding’s Rage (craftable), 5 Spriggan’s Thorns (from Bangkorai), 2 Monster Set / Agility Set are a simple beginning set option.
The Clever Alchemist (craftable) set is the first set we utilize to assist increase the damage of our skills by a significant amount. The 5 piece bonus provides 2192 life and 129 weapon/spell damage, with an extra 675 weapon/spell damage when a potion is used during battle. This will greatly aid your burst combination and give you with a significant amount of damage.
Thunder Caller (from Red Petal Bastion) is our second set, and while being a light armor set, it will perform well when front barred on a stamina sorcerer due to their extra 5% damage with shock damage from their passive named Energized. When you deal damage with a fully charged heavy strike, you’ll smite the target with shock damage, inflicting immediate damage and then leaving a harmful AOE that hurts everyone who comes into contact with it, scaling off your weapon or spell damage. This is a great match for our following set.
The (Perfected) Frenzied Momentum (from Vateshran Hollows) will be our rear bar set, which will activate when you cast Momentum (Rally). While in battle, casting stamina abilities creates a stack on this weapon, boosting your weapon damage by 38 to 5 times. When you heavy attack with all of your stacks, you’ll consume all of them and inflict a massive amount of physical damage to foes within 8 meters, scaling off of your weapon or spell damage. The additional 190 weapon damage before the explosion is excellent, but the combined damage of this burst and Thunder Caller is not to be taken lightly.
Finally, instead of a monster helm, we’ve used Malacath’s Ring (through scrying) and one piece of Swarm Mother to boost overall damage while sacrificing critical damage chance. You may drop this in lieu of a monster set if you really want to run Critical Surge, but it appears to do the most damage. With a 16 percent increase in all of our damage, the proc setups we have will hit considerably harder, since they can’t crit anyhow. However, critical damage will be decreased by 50% as a result of this set, but they will still exist.
